How Sea Circus started..... 

After years designing successful, top-selling children’s collections for iconic brands including Speedo and Bonds, Kate was motivated to launch her own label called Escargot in summer 2011.  This lovely brand has a name change to Sea Circus more recently.

A word from our designer Kate… 

“I have loved designing for as long as I can remember. I was the 3- year-old hand sewing outfits for my dolls and kidswear has always been my passion. I was thrilled to create collections for Speedo and Bonds during my career, but nothing beats the smiles when a little girl puts on one of our swimsuits for the very first time and squeals with delight… mummy it has a tutu or a baby snuggles into one of our super soft milk cotton suits! I developed this brand to bring the most beautiful, colourful collection to life for kids around the world to enjoy”. 

Kate’s love of print, colour, fun and fashion have certainly made a splash with the collection being sold all over the world including top stores over the years like David Jones and Nordstrom’s department store USA.

Craig is the amazingly calm, straight thinking Director of Sea Circus His talent is straightening out the whirlwind in the office and the home that is created when you’re married to a designer! He is also a spectacular cook. 

Along with two gorgeous Border Collies to liven up the Sea Circus office, this little family brings you Escargot & Sea Circus, a kids brand from the heart ….. Enjoy xx
